We understand sometimes the wrong part can be ordered and we will do our best to ensure your satisfaction. Since the parts involved are mechanical or electrical in nature there must be specific guidelines for a parts return.
· Any return must be authorized in advance and an RMA (Return Material Authorization) issued or we will not accept any inbound shipments that do not have an RMA number clearly marked on the packaging. You should contact us at 888-700-4214 or by email at parts@generatorpartsdirect.com to request a parts return, receive an RMA and specific instructions for proper shipment to us.
· Returned parts are to be shipped prepaid to us, we will not accept collect freight shipments.
· All parts returns are subject to a 25% restock charge.
· No returns on electrical items or special order parts.
· All items must be returned undamaged and in the original manufacturers packaging.
· No credits will be issued until the product has been received and inspected at our facility.
· Any parts returned damaged or in a state which makes them not useable or sellable will be sent back to you, no credit will be issued and the return freight will be your responsibility.
· In the event the incorrect part was shipped due to our error, we will issue you a credit for the return including freight within 30 days.
